Ori products are flat-packed for easy shipping and installed in less than a day with trained staff. Horizontally moving systems (the Pocket Closet, Pocket Office, Studio Suite, and Studio Suite Slim) use a track that is attached to the floor using high-strength, removable adhesive tape. Vertically moving systems (the Cloud Bed) are freestanding products that are anchored to the wall for additional stability with simple drywall anchors.

Yes! Ori products require no permanent changes or construction on the unit for installation and are a perfect retrofit solution for existing apartment or condo units.

Ori products are installed without making any permanent changes to surrounding space. Movement tracks are attached to the floor using high-strength, removable adhesive tape or secured to the wall with drywall anchors. Systems can be disassembled and reinstalled by third-party, Ori-certified installers. Re-installation fees can be incurred for this service.

Ori’s proprietary obstacle protection feature automatically stops all movement when the system feels about 20lb of pressure, or the force of just two fingers. Ori’s systems are also UL962 approved and listed, which includes safety testing related to fire, stability, materials, and other situations.

In the case of a power outage, Ori systems automatically convert to “manual mode” and can be moved with a physical push or pull to move the system or raise or lower the bed.

Ori products have been factory-tested for 20 years of typical use and are designed to never need routine maintenance. The furniture components are modular, so any damage can be fixed by simply swapping in a new wood panel.

All components are covered under an automatic 5-year warranty.

Ori’s furniture components are made from ¾” plywood finished with high-quality laminate. The furniture and robotics components are sourced from Europe and the U.S., then manufactured and assembled in the U.S.
