The Ori app allows you to control your Ori device, including lights and movement. It will also allow you to connect your Ori to Wi-Fi. The Ori app is available for iOS and Android.

You can connect your Ori system to an Amazon Alexa device and control your space with your voice. To make the connection, follow these steps.

1. Download the Ori app and connect your Ori to your home Wi-Fi
2. In the Alexa app on your phone, go to the "Browse Skills" section and search for "Ori"
3. Select "Launch"
4. You will be taken to an Ori login page and prompted to login to your Ori account (NOTE: Use this page to sign in with your Ori account information, NOT your Amazon account information)
5. Wait for Alexa to add the skill—it will tell you when the connection is ready
6. You're ready to control your Ori with your voice! Be sure to start commands with "Alexa, tell Ori to..."
   1. "Show/create..." + "my closet/office/living room/bedroom"
   2. "Open/close..." + "my closet/office"
   3. "Move my..."+ "bed up/bed down"
   4. "Turn the lights..." + "on/off"
   5. "Dim/set lights to" + "0-100%"

1. Connect Ori to Wi Fi
2. Use Google Home app to set up google home on your home internet
3. Say “Hey Google, Talk to Ori”
4. Google will tell you to use the home app to link your account
5. Click the history button and pull down to refresh
6. Click the button to link (“Link”)
7. Enter your Ori account email and password
8. Say “Hey Google, Talk to Ori”

Lock mode prevents Ori from moving until after you enter a code or unlock the system via the app.

To lock your Ori system using the app:

1. Select the lock icon in the bottom right corner of the home screen
2. Enter your desired combination using the four dots in each corner of the Square.
3. You only need to enter your combination when locking or unlocking via the Square. When using the app, all you need to do is tap the lock or unlock icon.

To Lock your Ori system using the Square:

1. First, set up your combination using the app. Refer to the instructions above.
2. To lock, hold your finger on the Ori logo for 5 seconds until you hear the ringtone and the four combination dots appear.
3. Enter the combination you set in the app.
4. If entered correctly, your Ori will go into lock mode.
5. To unlock your Ori, tap the Square then enter your combination.

You can create lighting presets on the Ori Cloud Bed to turn the lights on or off anytime the bed is raised or lowered.

• Open the Ori app.
• Press and hold either the bed down or up button.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to customize the position settings.
• Once saved, raising or lowering the bed will also control the lights according to your customization.

You can customize room settings on the Pocket Studio to control the position for the bedroom, living room, and closet modes. You can also create custom lighting presets to turn the lights on or off when entering any of these positions.

To create custom settings using the Ori Square:

• Move the unit into the desired location using the arrows.
• Place one finger on the Ori logo and the other on the icon of the room you wish to customize.
• Hold this position for approximately five seconds until you hear an ascending ringtone.
• Repeat this process for each room setting you wish to customize.
• When customizing the bedroom setting, press the bed icon and allow the bed to fully extend. Next, use the arrows to move the whole system into your desired location. Save the setting by holding your finger on the Ori logo and bed icon simultaneously until you hear the ascending ringtone.

To create custom settings using the Ori App:

• Open the Ori app.
• Press and hold the icon for the room you wish to customize.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to customize the position settings.

You can customize room settings on the Pocket Closet to control how far your closet opens. You can also create custom lighting presets to turn the lights on or off when opening or closing your closet.

To create custom settings using the Ori Square:

• Move the unit into the desired open position using the arrows.
• Using two hands, place one finger on the Ori logo and one on the closet icon. Use your other hand to place one finger on the open arrow (on the right hand side of the square).
• Hold this position for approximately five seconds until you hear the ascending ringtone.
• Your preset has now been saved. When you select the closet icon, your closet will now move to this position.

To create custom settings using the Ori App:

• Open the Ori app.
• Press and hold the closet icon.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to customize the position and lighting settings.

You can customize room settings on the Pocket Office to control how far your office opens. You can also create custom lighting presets to turn the lights on or off when opening or closing your office.

To create custom settings using the Ori Square:

• Move the unit into the desired open position using the arrows.
• Using two hands, place one finger on the Ori logo and one on the office icon. Use your other hand to place one finger on the open arrow (on the right hand side of the square).
• Hold this position for approximately five seconds until you hear the ascending ringtone.
• Your preset has now been saved. When you select the office icon, your office will now move to this position.

To create custom settings using the Ori App:

• Open the Ori app.
• Press and hold the office icon.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to customize the position and lighting settings.

Having trouble with your Cloud Bed? Here are a few items to check before reaching out for service:

1. Make sure there is nothing obstructing the Cloud Bed's path. Look on the ground, coffee table, or sofa for any items that may be preventing the bed frame from lowering all the way.
2. Ensure that the sofa cushions are not blocking the path of the bed as it lowers, as they can become dislodged with use.
3. Check to see if you've accidentally left something on your bed—for safety reasons, excess weight on the bed will prevent it from rising.
4. If too many items are plugged into the Cloud Bed's outlets, it may cause the overcurrent protection system to trip and turn the power off. Unplug some of these items, then flip the red switch located underneath the sofa, behind the left hand drawer. You will have to remove the cushions and drawer to access this switch.
5. If you ever lose power, the Cloud Bed can be moved manually. When the system loses power, the legs will drop. Use the leg to pull the bed down gently to go to sleep.
6. Manual mode can be accessed at anytime simply by unplugging the system.

Having trouble with your Pocket Office? Here are a few items to check before reaching out for service:

• Make sure there is nothing obstructing the Pocket Office's path. Look on the ground for any items that may be preventing the unit from moving, including carpet.
• Check inside the office to make sure nothing is blocking the Pocket Office from closing. Ensure that your office chair is aligned and low enough to fit under the desk when the unit closes.
• If too many items are plugged into the Pocket Office's outlets, it may cause the overcurrent protection system to trip and turn the power off. Unplug some of these items, then flip the red switch located at the end of the track near the wall.
• If you ever lose power, the Pocket Office can be moved manually. Carefully push or pull the unit to move it into place.
• Manual mode can be accessed at anytime simply by unplugging the system.

Having trouble with your Ori Pocket Studio? Check these items before reaching out for support:

• Ensure that nothing is obstructing the Pocket Studio's path, including carpet.
• If too many items are plugged into the Pocket Studio's outlets, it may trigger the overcurrent protection and power off the system. You can reset the overcurrent protection by flipping the red switch located at the end of the guidance track.
• You can reboot your Ori by unplugging it and plugging it back in again.
• Your Ori can be operated manually by unplugging the unit then carefully pushing or pulling it into place and pulling your bed all the way out to go to bed.

Ori’s proprietary obstacle protection feature automatically stops all movement when the system feels about 20lb of pressure, or the force of just two fingers. Ori’s systems are also UL962 approved and listed, which includes safety testing related to fire, stability, materials, and other situations.

In our goal to make the built environment more sustainable, we remain conscious of our energy consumption. Ori utilizes low voltage electric motors in our product technology, keeping costs low and energy efficiency high. Our products have been used in LEED certified buildings because when in motion, our Cloud Bed uses just one tenth the power of a hairdryer. And in the event of a power outage, all our products are designed to remain fully functional through manual mode and our proprietary counterweight system.

You can clean the surface of your Ori furniture with a soft rag and a furniture safe all-purpose cleaner.

All Ori systems can be operated manually when the power is out. Unplug the system to ensure the power is not on, then gently push or pull the bed out so you can go to bed.

The Ori Pocket Studio comes in queen and full sizes—check with your building management to verify which size you have.

We recommend a mattress that is between 10 - 14" thick and under 160 lbs.

Carpets can only be placed underneath Cloud Bed systems. Pocket Closets, Pocket Offices, and Studio Suites cannot move over carpet and require a hard flooring surface.

You can change the mattress on your Cloud Bed, however this should only be done with the assistance of building or Ori maintenance. Attempting to change the mattress on your own may result in injury or damage to the system.
